WHITE GOLD PAINTS
The venture was
formed with the intention of addressing a long
ignored issue: the substandard quality of
Philippines roads, especially their inadequate
safety features.
This imperative gave rise to a desire to develop
products and services, designed to meet and
improve quality and safety within the Industry’s
regulatory and technical environment. More than
that, a motivation to increase awareness and
strongly encourage adoption of high-level
safety, reliability, and utility standards
across the industry, was born.

KING'S KEBAB
Fancy a kebab or shawarma? If you think
you’ve tried them all before, think again.
The result of the determination of its founder –
King is his name, of course – King’s Kebab has
the best kebabs and shawarma meals for the
Pinoys’ palette. Initially assessed by some as a
venture that may not succeed, this Persian grill
now has customers that dream about its
tenderloin and ground beef kebabs. Rumor has it
that some customers even end up sleep-walking to
one of the two branches just to satisfy their
craving.
It is the best value for money –
and even better than some more expensive places.
Delivery service also available.

Blvd, near Liberty Center Tel. 722-6575) |

KOO CLOTHING
"Clothes for the young fashionistas",
that's perhaps the best way of describe the line of
Koo
Clothing. Born out of passion, Koo Clothing
opened in mid 2007. Joan, the founder-designer used to
be an I.T. student until she decided, with the support
of her parents, to pursue her true passion - fashion.
That passion became the building block of what has now
become Koo Clothing. |
 |
|
The clothes come in various designs and are
available online and in limited retail outlets
around the metro. The clothes are fashionable,
exciting, vibrant, trendy, and chic.

OPUS
Danielle's “masterpiece”, referring to the best,
renowned, and finest. With it being a
restaurant, café meeting place,
party-slash-events destination and bar rolled
into one, gives clear definition of what to
expect in terms of the food, the vibe, and the
kind of people gracing the cozy place.
There are so many things in life that are
already mediocre, and relishing in a unique
dinning experience shouldn’t be one of them.
Here at Opus we attest to the fine standards of
how it is to binge in traditional feel-good
foods and mainstay favourites in the heaven of
good company
|
|
Situated
in a cozy corner of Metrowalk near Ortigas Center, Opus
is already an attraction itself. Redefining “comfort

occasion, having hearty hangouts or long meaty
chit-chats, Opus is destined to be the ideal date place

FILTHY GROMMET started
in 2006 as a hobby of customizing clothes
for personal use. It surfaced from the
continuous hunt for individuality and
distinctiveness in fashion. As the clothes
were exposed to the public, there were
requests for producing pieces for friends
and family. Thus, Filthy Grommet was born.
The name centers upon the word “Grommet”
which is a slang word used by skateboarders
and surfboarders implying an “Excellent
Rookie”. |
We view ourselves
as young individuals who shell out raw and fresh ideas
influenced by our environment and our lifestyle. The
experience of the hustle and bustle of the streets of
Manila and our world views are what emanates and
translates into our pieces of clothing. We are a
clothing line inspired by street culture, carrying
graphic t-shirts and specializing in the customization
of jeans and hoodies. Filthy Grommet steps away from the
mainstream trends and creates their own wave of movement
of fashion and style. Filthy Grommet

TUSOK
TUSOK
The
idea of Tusok-Tusok came to Alvin during one of the
school's trips to China. There he realized that street
foods such as fishballs and other kinds of seafood balls
are cooked in flavored stock just as also in
Japan,
Taiwan, and
Hong Kong.
He
also realized that cooking the food in that way the
would make it healthier, especially compared to
the typical deep-fried foods. |
Cooking in stock
also eliminates the unsavory oily taste and
texture of fried foods especially when they get
cold.
Current best sellers include crab balls, squid
balls, and salmon twists.
Tusok-tusok is now available at the basement of
Gaisano Mall in Market-Market and at Riverbanks
in Marikina. Additional outlets are to be put up
in SM within the first half of 2008.
